Install
- Download the DMG, open it and drag NotchQuota into Applications.
- Launch NotchQuota from Applications. macOS may show the usual “downloaded from the internet” confirmation the first time.
- Allow Keychain access when macOS asks, as needed.
Requires Apple silicon and macOS 13 or later, with each service already signed in. No Homebrew, Python, Node or command-line tools needed.
Choose which accounts to show
Use “Displayed apps” in the right-click menu to choose accounts. With one selected it stays fixed; unselected accounts are neither shown nor queried. Reorder them in Account Settings → Reorder Accounts.
Display modes
Right-click → Settings & Updates to switch between menu bar, notch and sidebar modes. Your choice persists across restarts.
When a quota shows gray
Gray means the data couldn't be read — hover or click the number to see why. Signing in again in the original app usually fixes it; the last data is kept and marked as stale meanwhile.
Launch at login and updates
Check “Launch at login” in the right-click menu; if it shows “Waiting for approval”, follow the menu link to System Settings. Updates are checked daily, and you can choose “Check for Updates” at any time.
